Amar is a Middle Eastern dancer, performer and choreographer, who has been studying modern Egyptian style belly dancing for over 10 years. She has been teaching belly dancing for over 5 years to adults in adult education at the beginning and intermediate levels. She also performs around the East San Gabriel area as well as showcases throughout the Los Angeles area. 

Amar continues to passionately study this art. She has studied and continues to study under the tutelage of master teacher and choreographer, Zahra Zuhair. She has taken workshops from Egyptian choreographer Raqia Hassan as well as Egyptian performers such as Dino of Cairo, Tito and more. 

Bellydance Classes: Amar teaches beginning and intermediate modern Egyptian style bellydance classes in the Glendora and Azusa, California area. She teaches private lessons as well. Amar’s teaching methods are fun and unique. Her main concentration is on rhythms and technique. These classes are for anyone who is interested in learning belly dance and advancing their technique while having fun.
