CYRIANA Cyriana@charter.net  Cyriana is a professional and passionate dancer with over 25 years of experiance in the "American Cabaret" style of Belly Dance. BELLYDANCE CLASSES: She has been teaching in the Alta Loma / Rancho Cucamonga, California area for 15 years. Her style is fluid and graceful, yet challanging, with emphasis on playing zills, using a veil, and dancing to the various rhythms of Middle Eastern music used in a "Cabaret routine." Turkish, (including 9/8 Karshilama) classic Arabic, Egyptian influences, Armenian, Persian 6/8, and some Greek styles are taught. Armenian and Greek folk dances in some classes. She has studied with many of the finest dancers in the field of Belly dance that have influenced her style of dance that she now passes on to her students. Beginning, Intermediate, Advanced (instructor approval only) are offered. Classes include strong technique with emphasis on posture, flexibility, improving circulation, choreography, improvisational skills, layering movements, veil, (3yd. rectangular & unique veil tucks) circular veil, and double circular veil, drum solos, how to do a "BELLY ROLL," basic costuming to get you started (some classes). Each session we look at a different part of a Cabaret routine. Classes are held in Alta Loma / Rancho Cucamonga weekly.
