Jacqui Lalita has danced across Europe, North Africa, Indonesia and the Americas. With a vibrant array of Middle Eastern dances and moving meditations, she has a mastery for excavating the authentic dancer in students of all ages and abilities.

The exuberant and exotic style of her healing dance retreats and classes is appealing for students of all levels. Mentored by belly dance stars Tamalyn Dallal and Bozenka at the Mid Eastern Dance Exchange in Miami Beach, Jacqui was part of an illustrious faculty of world class teachers.

During her four trips to Egypt, she studied with many great legends of the dance, including Raqia Hassan, Dina, Mahmoud Reda, Yousry Sharif and Nagwa Faud. Seamlessly fusing grace and subtlety in her natural style, she is known for her playful and passionate performances. Her lyrical soul and sublime musicality have led her to share the stage with many amazing world musicians.

Jacqui's specialties are Egyptian style, cabaret, turkish, gypsy, samba belly fusion, veils, zils, ethnic fusion, and dances of the temple priestess.
