Lailah
has studied from the masters of Egyptian dance both here and
abroad. Her dance background includes ballet, tap, jazz,
tango, and flamenco. The love of Middle-Eastern music was
the beginning of her passion to pursue the beautiful art
form of Oriental dance.
Lailah
has worked with world-renowned dance groups such as Zahra
Zuhair's Po Na Na Theatre Dance Company and Ya Amar Dance
Company. Her talents have led her to film and stage
presentations with the latest being "Veils of Innana" and
the "Mermaid Song."
Her latest endeavor
has landed her a position in the prestigious and renowned
Laila del Monte's Flamenco Dance Company as well as the
Zahra Zuhair & Eshta Dance Company.
She has just completed
working on a project in conjunction with a fund-raising
event to support research and patient care at the nationally
renowned City of Hope Cancer Center in Southern California.
Lailah can be found
performing in fine dining establishments throughout the
greater Los Angeles and Orange County, California area.
In addition to her
teaching and performing, Lailah has launched her own
entertainment firm titled, "Iberian Entertainment." She
brings a colorful and exciting ensemble of fusion between
flamenco dance and Egyptian belly dance. Future projects
include more fundraising functions and corporate event
entertainment.
Lailah is available

Work out to tone and shape your body while learning the beautiful ancient art of belly dance. These are mixed level classes that focus on body alignment while building up stamina. Upper and lower body exercises that focus on stomach, arm and hand movements, hip/buttock isolations, shimmies, layering, and undulations are taught to rhythmical North African beats. The finer points of basic to intermediate finger cymbals (zils) and veil work are covered. Performance opportunities for student recital shows are available.
