Miriam brings a dynamic combination of passion and grace to Oriental Dance.
Although she specializes in neo-classic Modern Egyptian belly dance, she is also proficient in Fusion as well as the folkloric styles of many countries, including Lebanese Debke, Saudi Arabian and Gulf States Khaligi, Tunisian, and Upper Egyptian Saidi, and the stately raks shamadan, a traditional Egyptian wedding dance involving balancing a large candelabrum on the dancer's head. Interested in dance at an early age, she performed Ballet Folklorico (Mexican folk dances) as a child, but it wasn't until later in life, as a young adult, that she discovered her first love: Oriental Dance.
