Taji is known for her fluidity and her expressive interpretation of Middle Eastern music. Taji started dance classes as an adult and studied seriously modern, ballet, jazz, musical theater, and choreography. When she found Belly Dance, she found a place to explore feminine power in performance, improvisation, costume design, a never ending supply of types of bellydance to learn and the companionship of wonderful friends. Taji has performed all over the West Coast including Oregon, Rakkasah, Mendocino, Arab television, conventions, parties, nightclubs and many restaurants. She performs at Babouch Restaurant on Thursday nights 310-831-0246- call for reservations. Taji performs at the San Pedro Sheraton on Wednesday nights as a soloist and as a member of "Veils and Incense," the highly regarded performance troupe of Tonya and Atlantis.
