Veronique, Belly Dancer, Middle Eastern Dance Performer

Veronique started her musical career at the age of 5, when her parents made the decision to enroll her in a piano class. Her study of the instrument continued throughout her childhood and well into adulthood. Earning a degree in the Fine Arts, Veronique studied voice,ballet, popular dance and modern dance to become well rounded in the field.

By her ninth birthday, Veronique and family move to Frankfurt, Germany. At the age of 12 she competed in a dance competition in Amsterdam, England and won. Elated, Veronique chose her stage name from the Germany name meaning Veronica.

It wasn't until Veronique saw her first Belly Dancer at a Company Party, that her studies in music changed from Western to Middle Eastern. Veronique focused on eliminating the American style of music and dance from her mind and submerged herself in The Belly Dance along with the inspiring complexed rhythms and melodies of Middle Eastern Music.

Veronique has studied with Master Instructors and continues her studies with the same tenacity taken in her studies of classical piano studies.

She is an instructor of beginning level classical Egyptian technique and intermediate dance improvisation, (Understanding the music). With her unique cabaret style, Veronique performs in Restaurants in the Los Angeles and Long Beach areas and has performed in Mexico in international waters. She was entered in the 2007 Belly Dancer of The Universe Competition in the Egyptian Category.

BELLYDANCE CLASSES: Inspired by the complex rhythms and melodies of Middle Easter music,Veronique finds enlightenment in the Art of The Belly Dance. She has a degree in Fine Arts which encompasses classical music and dance. Veronique has classes in Classical Egyptian Basic Technique, Beginner level and Intermediate; Also Improvisation Choreography available in private lessons or group. Children welcome -- All classes held in Orange County.
