Zelena, dancer, artist, performer, teacher and choreographer has an extensive background in all facets of Spanish and Latin dance, covering regional folk dances, and of course, Flamenco. Zelena has been dancing since the age of three and performed at the early age of five. She took ballet, jazz, and modern dance classes in college.
Her love for Belly dancing began about 10 years ago, as a fun and exciting way to exercise and a great way to stay fit. She studied Belly dance from Superstars Ansuya and the bellytwins,Veena and Neena.
 Zelena has been teaching belly dancing since 2003 and currently teaches Beginning Belly dancing in Group Classes. She taught Latin dance exercise classes in Long Beach, California in a supportive atmosphere. She is also available for private individual instruction on belly dance and Flamenco for those who are interested. Private lessons are available by appointment.
In the Belly Dance Group Classes you: Learn the basic hip techniques, shimmies and muscle control of this fascinating dance form. Most classes are offered on a introductory and beginner level, covering finger cymbals, movements, props, costuming, and some choreography. Her classes include fundamentals of the veil.
Most of the classes are ongoing, repeating every 4-6 weeks. Current Classes are held Los Angeles, Lancaster, and Ridgecrest/China Lake, California and she also teaches at her home and also makes dance costumes and jewelry!
Coming Soon: Adult ballet for belly dancers. Polish up your turns, gain flexibility and core strength and add grace and elegance to your arm movements. Great addition to your belly dance curriculum.
Zelena is available for bellygrams, weddings, private parties, celebrations, or anniversaries, she speaks English and Spanish, and is available to go to Mexico --- para ponerle un "toque" magico a su fiesta!

 Sexy Adult Belly Dancer Costume
